Seminole Classic Casino in Hollywood, Fla., is proud to announce that Lauren’s Kids has been selected as a 2025 Hard Rock Heals Foundation Grant recipient. The organization will receive a $5,000 grant to support its work in children’s wellness.
Nominated by the team at Seminole Classic Casino, Lauren’s Kids was chosen from a global pool of nominees to receive funding as part of Hard Rock’s worldwide commitment to healing through philanthropy. The grant is one of 50 awarded this year by the Hard Rock Heals Foundation, totaling $250,000 in donations to local charities around the world.
“We nominated Lauren’s Kids because their mission and work speak directly to the needs of our local community,” said Edward Aguilar, General Manager at Seminole Classic Casino. “We’re honored to support them and proud to stand with organizations that reflect our values: Love All – Serve All and Take Time to Be Kind.”
An official 501(c)(3) since 2007, Lauren’s Kids is based in South Florida and educates adults and children about sexual abuse prevention through in-school curricula, resources for families, EMMY and ADDY Award-winning awareness campaigns, and speaking engagements around the country and the world. The ultimate goal is to prevent child sexual abuse through education and awareness and to help survivors heal with guidance and support.
The foundation’s Safer, Smarter Schools K-12 curriculum program is currently used in classrooms in 40 states to teach children about personal safety. The Foundation provides more than 10 million education and awareness materials statewide through direct mail each year and has helped advocate for the passage of nearly two dozen laws to support survivors and protect children from predators.
