We teach our kids to look both ways before they cross the street, to stay put if they get lost, and what to do in case there’s a fire. Much of our parenting energy is focused on teaching our kids the things they need to know to keep them safe. When it comes to talking about personal safety in terms of child sexual abuse prevention, that can be a lot tougher. In fact, it can be downright uncomfortable.
