Lauren Book, founder and CEO of The Lauren’s Kids Foundation, recently announced her support of a bill (HB 131) filed by Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D – Coral Springs) that would allow secret recordings to be used in sex offense cases involving victims under the age of 16. The bill comes following the State of Florida Supreme Court Ruling that such recordings were not legal if the accused is unaware they are being recorded. More information can be found on WLRN.org.
