We offer a wide variety of child sexual abuse prevention programs in Miami that are designed with specific needs and age groups in mind.
The first step to putting a stop to child sexual abuse in Miami is to educate the community and raise awareness. As a community, it is our job to protect our children. We offer several child sexual abuse prevention programs in Miami that target adults, children, educators and community members alike. These programs include:
- Safer, Smarter Kids is an abuse prevention curriculum program that is designed to help Pre-Kindergarten and elementary school students learn safety awareness, self-esteem development, and body boundaries. This program helps children respect for themselves as well as others and teaches them to listen to their guiding voice. Developed with career educators, child advocates and developmental psychologists, this prevention program also emphasizes that in instances of abuse, it is ok to tell trusted adults, and it also stresses the importance of accessing help. - Youth Serving Organizations exist to help children become more confident and well rounded. We offer programs designed to help adults who regularly come into contact with children and teens recognize the signs of child sexual abuse and best practices for abuse prevention within youth-serving organizations.
