42 Hours at the Florida Capitol – April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) and Child Abuse Prevention Month – advocate with Lauren’s Kids at the Florida Capitol by participating in our “42 Hours” awareness display to honor the 42 million survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Lauren’s Kids will be enlisting supporters to walk on a treadmill in the Capitol for 42 consecutive hours on April 2nd and 3rd. Check the Lauren’s Kids website in March for sign-up information.
LK 5K – NEW this year, we’re excited to bring the LK 5K to South Florida during SAAM and Child Abuse Prevention Month! Whether you’re a runner, jogger or walker, this event is for you! Designed to raise awareness during a day of fun, additional details will be announced soon – but mark your calendars for April 13!
