Lauren’s Kids is a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to preventing child abuse and helping children learn the skills they need to stay safe. Through our Safer, Smarter Schools curriculum, we partner with schools across the country to provide age-appropriate prevention education covering:
- Personal safety
• Body boundaries
• Digital safety
• Grooming awareness
• Human trafficking prevention
Our Emmy Award–winning curriculum is used by thousands of educators and helps schools meet important state requirements such as Erin’s Law and trafficking prevention mandates.
We are seeking a part-time education professional to help expand and support implementation of this important work with schools and districts.
About the Role
This role supports both outreach and partner success as we work with schools implementing the Safer, Smarter Schools curriculum.
You will help introduce schools to the program, support existing partners, and assist with outreach to districts, charter networks, and education organizations.
This position is ideal for someone who has experience in education and enjoys building relationships while advancing a meaningful mission.
What You’ll Do
School & District Outreach
- Connect with school districts, charter networks, and education partners
- Introduce the Safer, Smarter Schools curriculum to new schools
- Support compliance-driven adoption related to Erin’s Law and prevention education
Partner Support
- Maintain communication with current school partners
- Help ensure schools have what they need to successfully implement the curriculum
- Collect feedback to improve program experience
Events & Professional Development
- Occasionally ssist with conferences, events, and educator professional development sessions
- Help coordinate logistics and follow-up communication
Relationship Development
- Help build partnerships with education organizations, advocacy groups, and community partners
Ideal Background
We are especially interested in candidates with experience such as:
- Former teachers or school administrators
- School counselors or student services professionals
- District curriculum or program staff
- Education nonprofit program staff
- Education sales or partnership development professionals
Qualifications
- Experience in education, advocacy, nonprofit, or outreach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Comfortable using email, scheduling tools, and CRM systems (or willing to learn)
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
- Passion for protecting children and supporting schools
