This Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Child Abuse Prevention Month, we’re inviting YOU to be a part of our Walk in My Shoes Friendship Bracelet Project!
Why It Matters: When survivors disclose and begin healing, it can often feel lonely—but together, we can show them they are NEVER alone. These bracelets symbolize strength, hope, and healing, and will be delivered to survivors of child sexual abuse and sexual assault across Florida.
How You Can Help: Make your own friendship bracelets to show your love and support. Need inspiration? Consider using words like “Brave”, “Survivor”, “Advocate,” “Hope”, “Healing”, “SAAM” (Sexual Assault Awareness Month) Send your bracelets to Lauren’s Kids HQ to be shared with survivors across Florida’s sexual assault programs and children’s advocacy centers. Come to the Walk and receive a bracelet in return—because we’re all in this together!
Together, we can shine light in dark places. Make and mail your bracelets today to Lauren’s Kids at Lauren’s Kids, 4000 Hollywood Blvd Suite 677-S, Hollywood, FL 33021.
